Maestro

A six-chapter talk show entitled "Maestro" is scheduled to kick off shortly at Richter Hall. All interested parties are welcome to attend a unique program to meet and hear our two dear guests whose lifetime stories promise fun and joy aplenty. In a talk-show called "Duel of Artists" Győr Philharmonic Orchestra's artistic director, Liszt Prize-holder Kálmán Berkes, is to be interviewed by one of Hungary's acting legends, Oszkár Gáti. A long series of awe-inspiring, highly entartaining stories about life-changing encounters, events, chance meetings, family life, musical studies, playing partners are guaranteed to engage all those present. Also, Mr. Berkes will no doubt let us in on some details of his life-long friendship with marvelous pianist/conductor, the late Zoltan Kocsis, as well as on his many years spent teaching in Japan, and his current, fruitful work of heading the orchestra in our city of Győr. 

Dates of the six episodes of the program called "Maestro" are : January 10, January 31, February 21, March 21, April 11, and May 2, 2022. Single event price is 4000 forints, while tickets for the whole series are 15 000 forints.

This talk-show will be recorded and broadcast on station Radio Bézs at later dates.
