A resounding success: The Peter Bence Symphonic Show at the Audi Arena
Piano virtuoso, music producer, composer, Peter Bence, has just turned 32 the other day. Perhaps it was his special way of celebrating that he totally mesmerized his many-thousand-strong Audi Aréna audience in Győr. As he had promised earlier, his impressive technique and creativity indeed dismantled the borders between various musical genres, accompanied skillfully by the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra. There was a steady alternation of earlier and new numbers, one or two of them having been debut performances.

Once upon a time a five year young boy has sat at the piano and two years later composed his first song. His name was Péter Bence. This prodigious talented Hungarian lad has since "exploded" the Internet with his videos having been viewed by over a billion people. That feat has incidentally earned him a place in the Guinness Book of Records!
Magical start of the new 2023/2024 orchestra seasont!
As promised in the title slogan we are set to kick off the new GYPO season by some truly magical productions. Following three concerts of evergreen classical pieces, and two cracking pop music shows, we have selected for the fall a number of really unique and masterly works. It is our great pleasure to announce that we decided to restart our two highly successful season ticket series, the sacred music series of the Benedek Istvánffy, as well as the chamber music series of the Károly Flesch season tickets, respectively.

After our orchestra’s summer vacation we are back to pick up where we left off our outdoor series dubbed "Musical Yards". Our next location is the newly opened RQ Water Park and Spa in Győr. The concert starts at 7:30pm on August 28, 2023.
Musical yard concerts come up again
The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra has in 2021 launched a series of outdoor concerts dubbed "Musical Yards" with great success featuring the orchestra’s own musicians at popular tourist spots and not so well-known parts of the city also.

Symphonic Superconcert with the stars of the 1990's
This summer is guaranteed to kick off memorably at 9pm on June 8, 2023, at the Dunakapu Square in Győr. It is going to be the first joint performance of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and a band called Melody Maker to hand over a beautiful bouqet of the most popular hit songs from the 1990's. The show will be the first one of hopefully many more coming up in the future.
