Musical yard concerts come up again

The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra has in 2021 launched a series of outdoor concerts dubbed "Musical Yards" with great success featuring the orchestra’s own musicians at popular tourist spots and not so well-known parts of the city also. 

The opening performance of the series thisnyear is set to take place on the yard of the Old Evangelical Church at 7pm on June 29, 2023. Under the baton of GYPO's principal conductor, Martin Rajna, a smaller ensemble is to play an all-Mozart program, namely his Serenade in D major, the German Dance no.6 and one of his greatest syymphonies subtitled "Haffner".

The second concert of the series is scheduled for July 6 at the newly opened RQ Waterpark and Spa. Updated news on the upcoming Musical Yards (Zenélő Udvarok) concerts will soon be posted on the orchestra’s website as well as on our Facebook page.
