"Still presented" - The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra is counting on its loyal patrons even in the tough times of this present pandemic. Consistantly, every single one of our performances is recorded and passed on to our music loving audience in one way or the other via Internet portals, tv channels, and radio stations.

The program of the Chamber Music Season Ticket series' first concert this calender year includes pieces by W. A. Mozart, J. S. Bach, Tommaso Albinoni, and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The ensamble is led by violinst of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Zoltán Almási, featuring as co-soloist one of our very own concertmasters, Zsuzsa Nagy. Host of the event is, as usual, music historian Dr. Balázs Szabó.

In addition to the above, our live radio broadcasts also continue. The "Almási" concert is scheduled in the Győr Plus radio station (FM100.1) at 5pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021, as well as online at gyorplus.hu.

A resounding success: The Peter Bence Symphonic Show at the Audi Arena

Piano virtuoso, music producer, composer, Peter Bence, has just turned 32 the other day. Perhaps it was his special way of celebrating that he totally mesmerized his many-thousand-strong Audi Aréna audience in Győr. As he had promised earlier, his impressive technique and creativity indeed dismantled the borders between various musical genres, accompanied skillfully by the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra. There was a steady alternation of earlier and new numbers, one or two of them having been debut performances.

Travel at a lower fare to Budapest to the Mozart / Brahms with GYPO / Berkes concert

Dear Patrons,

We would love to see you at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest on October 20, 2023, when the Győr Philharmonic is to give a guest performance dubbed "Mozart/Brahms - GYFZ/Berkes" as part of our season ticket series. In that sanctuary of classical music our orchestra is conducted by artistic director Kálmán Berkes.
