Monday, 5 December, 2022 - 11:54

Dear Patrons,

It is our great pleasure to announce that despite the rather challenging times we are presently living in we are truly anticipating the beginning of the 2023 calender year with high hopes. Soon after the turn of the year we are to have the great honor to perform twice within a month in the Austrian sanctuary of music, the famous Grand Hall of Musikvereinsaal

We herewith cordially invite our faithful patrons to this non-season-ticket concert dubbed "Die Macht der Musik" (the making of music) on February 8, 2023. The program includes works by Ludwig van Beethoven, W. A. Mozart, G. Verdi, G. Puccini, and P. I. Tschaikowsky, and is to be conducted by Russia-born conductor Arkady Beryn, and featuring Sabine Meyer on clarinet.

We are also happy to share the good news with You that we are now set to make the more-than-once delayed concert, featuring world-renown pianist Dmitry Masleev, finally happen in March 2023. Mr. Masleev is scheduled to play Sergei Prokofiev's Piano Concerto. The program in the first half also includes the "Symphonic Minutes" by Ernő Dohnányi while in the second half the Győr Phil will play one of Béla Bartók's greatest masterpieces, the Concerto for Orchestra, conducted by resident conductor Martin Rajna
