Fűke Géza
Géza Fűke was born in 1971. He completed his secondary-school studies at the Kodály Zoltán Music Hich School in Kecskemét. Ha graduated at the Liszt Ferenc Music College in Győr in 1992 and obtained a degree in clarinet, solfeggio and primary-school music teaching. He obtained his cum laude degree as clarinet player and teacher at the Music Academy in Budapest in 1995. He worked as clarinet teacher from 1991 teaching at the Liszt Ferenc Music School in Győr, the Liszt Ferenc Music College in Győr, the Harmónia Art School, the Benedictine Grammar School in Pannonhalma and the Music School in Csorna. He was a founder and a member of the Győr Clarinet Ensamble between 1991 and 2005, and a founding member of the Ars Nova Singers Ensemble in Kecskemét between 1990 and 2000, and has been an active member of the Bolero Wind Ensemble of Győr since 2004. He was a clarinet player of the orchestra of the National Theatre in Győr between 1999 and 2003, and played regularly in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Győr and the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra in Veszprém. As a chamber musician, he participated in dozens of CD recordings. His artistic work has been awarded by first prizes, grand prizes and special prizes of contests in Greece, Turkey, France, Germany and Hungary. He played in about 700 concerts all over the world from China to the United States, from Spain to Norway. The Hungarian Radio, The Hungarian Television and WDR3 Köln have made several recordings with him. He has been the Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Győr since July 2008.
