GYPO's artistic director Kálmán Berkes awarded by the state of Hungary

On the day of Hungary's most celebrated national holiday, Friday morning in March 15, 2016, Minister of Human Resources, Zoltán Balog has decorated GYPO's artistic director, Liszt Prize winning clarinetist, conductor, Kálmán Berkes, with the award "Meritorious Artist of Hungary".

The maestro had been found worthy of this prize because of his decades long musicianship and performing artistry as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra director/conductor. On behalf of the entire GYPO leadership, and management, congratulations to Kálmán for this wonderful recognition, wishing him further succcesses and good health.
