International Day of Music

We would like to bring into your attention that on October 1, 2014, the first concert of  our János Richter Season Ticket Series is to take place marking this year’s International Day of Music at which GYPO will be conducted artistic director Kálmán Berkes.

The program includes a symphony by J. Haydn and F. Schubert respectively, the highlight of the evening being W. A. Mozart’s gorgeous piano concerto in C minor played  by the amazing two-time Kossuth Prize Winner Dezső Ránki.

We are proud to point out that as a recognition of our professional work here in Győr this concert is scheduled to be broadcasted live at 7pm by Hungary’s one and only classical music station, the Bartók Radio. Do listen in on it!
