Musical Yards in Győr

The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra has recently decided to revive, and reinvent a nice old tradition. Namely, from July 5 on our series called "Musical Yards" continues. Music-loving people of our city can quite literally walk into various chamber formations of our orchestra performing on different spots of Győr a total of 75 times.

Our next week program is the following:

6pm, Monday, July 5
Venue: Balcony of the Domus Peregrini Apartment building (8 Kaptalandomb, Győr)
Immunity card is not required 
Program : Cello recital by Viktor Juhász 

6pm, Tuesday, July 6
Venue : Lapidarium of the Flóris Rómer Art and History Museum (5 Bécsi kapu square)
Immunity card is required on entering 
Program : Duets for Bassoon and Clarinet
Featuring: Ágnes Fejes, and László Lindemann 

6pm, Wednesday, July 7
Venue: Garden of Cafe Collis (11 Kaptalandomb, entrance is next to the central reception of the St. László Visitor Center)
Immunity card is not required. Cafe services are available during the concert. 
Program: lower brass ensemble music
Featuring: Krisztián Szépszabó, Krisztián Hábetler, József Tóth, Bence Tóth, and Tamás Kecskés

6pm, Thursday, July 8
Venue: Episcopal Judicial House yard,  location of the Miklós Borsos permanent exhibition (2 Bishop Vilmos Apor square)
Immunity card is required on entering
Performance of the Arrabona Brass Quintet of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra 
Featuring: Ádám Vörös, Tamás Németh, István Bolykó, József Tóth, and Bence Tóth

The above concerts can be enjoyed free of charge. Likewise, tickets are not required for concerts featuring solo, or smaller chamber formations. However, tickets of 750 forints are required for larger ensemble concerts (they can be purchased an hour before the starting time at the scene. Please note that these events may not take place at the event of unfavorable weather.
