New season, new photo

Before the solemn event of opening our new 2013-14 orchestral season a new professional photograph of our musicians had been made.

professional photograph of our musicians had been made. In a laid-back atmosphere members of GYFZ were stood and sat together in the empty auditorium of Richter Hall as a backdrop. Although GYFZ’s artists are obviously well-accustomed to stage-presence it was a rather unique experience for them to be „conducted” not by artistic director, Kálmán Berkes, but by a professional photographer, Zoltán Mekli.  

Staff members of GYFZ who work arduously for the orchestra behind the scenes and away from the limelight also appear on the pictures.
