NEW SEASON TICKET SERIES ENTITLED "17:18" LAUNCHED BY GYPO
On top of the existing season ticket series this new one offers a number of novelties and innovations to music lovers like you.
BUT WHAT IS BEHIND THE UNUSUAL TITLE CHOICE "17:18"?
Well, it refers both to the orchestra's current 2017/18 season and to the rather quaint starting time of these events. In case you are wondering now why give a concert at this early time of the day here is a simple explanation : TO GIVE A CHANCE TO EVERY CLASSICAL MUSIC FAN TO HAVE GREAT LIVE EXPERIENCES! This new concept comes into existence after receiving a bunch of grievances that our usual 7pm concerts are too early for a lot of working people to make it back from home to Richter Hall especially from the greater Győr areas. Others lament on the fact that they couldn't find anyone to watch their kids while at the concert or they are too tired by that time of the day... After carefully listening to and registering these comments
WE CONCEIVED OF AN INNOVATIVE IDEA:
Let us have a new series of 60-70 minute long concerts to entertain our audience by playing great pieces of classical music. Not late in the evening but at JUST THE RIGHT TIME for many of you: right after standard working hours at 17:18. What better time slot to unwind after work to beautiful music?
All at a venue where trained personnel cares for your children in a playroom while you are having fun. An added bonus : young people can also attend the shows. No need to overdress and it's a bit less formal anyhow...
That is what our new series is going to be like! Sound good?
The series of FOUR performances offer those attending a good selection of music picked from the best of our ongoing season's repertoire. The respective presentations will include works that let you have an exciting insight into our forthcoming 2017/18 concerts conducted by Kálmán Berkes, Tibor Bényi, Alastair Willis, and Gerard Korsten.
The Győr Philharmonic Orchestra takes into consideration the families with small children as well. During the 17:18 concerts at Richter Hall there is going to be a playroom set up in the building with professional child care workers watching every move kids make.
It looks like everything is taken care of so you can freely enjoy a lovely late afternoon musical soirée to relax after a hard day's grind. We hope you will take us up on our offer and thereby be part of our ongoing 2017/18 orchestral season. No excuse for bad starting time anymore!
See you at Richter Hall for there EVERYONE IS PLAYING!
