Symphonic Superconcert with the stars of the 1990's

This summer is guaranteed to kick off memorably at 9pm on June 8, 2023, at the Dunakapu Square in Győr. It is going to be the first joint performance of the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and a band called Melody Maker to hand over a beautiful bouqet of the most popular hit songs from the 1990's. The show will be the first one of hopefully many more coming up in the future. Produced by Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and Melody Maker, the basic formation comprises of a band of eight pop musicians, as well as a 50 strong symphony orchestra, 3 vocalists, and a guest performer. 

Besides the enjoyment of the lovely songs, the two-hour show is to Incorporate spectacular visual elements, also, by projecting images onto a huge screen that reflect on the respective songs played. The audience thus can relish on a multi-layered artistic experience of coordinated audio/visual effects. This event therefore promises to be more than just another concert but those present will inevitably feel like they are part of a real cool experience! 

The group Melody Maker was founded by successful musicians, and band members of the 1990's, like Bebe, Gábor Glatz, Zoltán Kató from the band Back to Black, Gábor Németh, Attila Julianna Gajdos, who used to be members of a group called Club 54, also former R-go guitarrist Tamás Jelek, and keyboard player Bence Nyemcsók. 

The vast repertoire the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra does not only include classical pieces of music from bygone eras, but is also more than able to perform high-class popular music of the previous decades. Győr Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to be a leading force in playing cross-over style musical genres.
