"THE BRIGHT LIGHTS OF ADVENT" CHARITY CONCERT

The Győr Group of the Alliance of the Christian Intellectuals in association with the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra is to present a charity concert at 6pm on December 3 at Richter Hall for the benefit of the St. Angelina Catholic Home and the Evangelical Hospice.

The main patron of the event is county bishop Dr. András Veres. The concert is held in memory of Győr-born, world-renowned conductor, János Richter featuring primarily works by Johannes Brahms the maestro himself had conducted for the first time ever. The presentation is hosted by the general director of the Hungarian State Opera, Szilveszter Ókovács, and is conducted by Liszt Prize winning artistic director of GYPO, Kálmán Berkes.
We hereby invite all interested parties to support the noble cause of helping the residents of the above mentioned institutes by purchasing tickets to this concert.
