World stars in Győr! GYPO joined by tenor José Cura, and soprano Andrea Rost for a memorable evening

The city’s own orchestra is soon to have the honor to host world-renown Argentine tenor José Cura, along with Kossuth, and Liszt Prize winner Hungarian soprano Andrea Rost, for a predictably splendid performance at 7pm, May 3, 2015.

These two celebrated artists are to sing some of the most beautiful and beloved evergreen arias of the opera genre. The venue of this much-awaited show will be Győr’s recently inaugurated, brand new  indoor stadium called Audi Arena. The concert is scheduled to be conducted by GYPO’s artistic director, Liszt Prize winner clarinetist-conductor Kálmán Berkes.
